Some weeks before autumn officially starts on September 22, nature amazes us with the beautiful colours of the Indian Summer: dark red, chestnut brown, pumpkin-orange, moss-green, plum-blue, sunflower-yellow and all the berry colours from blackberry to elderberry. Soon the migratory birds leave our regions, the colourful flowers of the fall disappear; the sun is getting weaker and the days shorter. And eventually the golden October days give way to the grey November drizzle and fog.
At each of these stages of fall, candles bring light and warmth into our homes.
